Fr. Bernard grew up just outside Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya, and was ordained to the priesthood on June 12, 2001, at Blessed Trinity Parish in Ocala. Most recently, Fr. Bernard was in Africa on sabbatical. Prior to that, he served as Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Hope in Port Orange.
